About Us
Resource Management of AR, Inc. is the parent company of Fiber Resources, Inc., BBQr's Delight, Inc., and PlanetWise Products, Inc. All three sales companies offer products made of wood fiber processed into pellet form. Resource Management of AR, Inc. is a manufacturing facility consisting of a wood pellet plant with multiple pellet mills, sawmills for wood processing, and a dryer to dry wood prior to pelleting.
Fiber Resources was founded in 1982 to provide fiber recovery and reprocessing service to the paper mill facility down the street. Sludge produced from the paper-making process was dried and formed into fuel cubes to fire boilers at the paper mill. This kept sludge from going to landfills.
In the early 1990s, Fiber Resources became the first wood pellet plant to produce wood pellets from hardwood material for heating purposes. Heat ReSource hardwood pellets is a brand-name product. Ironwood is a patented product for drilling fluid additive for oil and gas drilling use.
Wood Pellets for BBQ
Pellets for barbeque came next, with Heat ReSource BBQ evolving to BBQr's Delight wood pellets. A 100% specie wood pellet for smoke flavor for gas and charcoal grills in one-pound bags competes with wood chips for customer use. BBQr's Delight pellet grill fuel is offered for use in pellet-fired cooking devices. With Jack Daniel's Smoking Pellets, BBQr's Delight is an authorized licensee of Jack Daniel's, making pellets from used mellowing charcoal from the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Feline Fresh & Equine Fresh!
PlanetWise Products is the sales corporation for cat litter products. Feline Fresh is a southern yellow pine pellet available in various packaging sizes. Feline Fresh clumping cat litter is a patented product, again made from southern yellow pine. Equine Fresh is pelleted horse bedding material.
